IT Manager
Summary
Title:IT Manager
ID:3381
Location :Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
Nationality :Any
Type of Contract :Full-time
Description
About the Role:
Tania Water is an established natural mineral water brand in Saudi Arabia, operating a multi-channel digital commerce ecosystem — native iOS and Android apps, Salla web store, driver app for fleet operations, call center, and WhatsApp ordering.
The company is entering its next growth phase, and the technology function needs a leader who can modernize the stack, strengthen internal capability, and ensure the infrastructure keeps pace with commercial ambition.

What You'll Own:
The entire technology function: application development, data infrastructure, integrations, IT operations, security, and vendor management.
The incoming IT Director will assess these areas and determine the right balance of internal capability, vendor oversight, and architectural control to give Tania the speed and autonomy it needs.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead technology strategy and architecture across the Order Management System, native iOS and Android mobile apps, Salla-powered web store, SAP ERP, and the driver app fleet system.
Evaluate and strengthen the internal engineering team — hiring across iOS, Android, backend, and data engineering as needed to reduce reliance on any single external partner or outsource accordingly.
Own the app development roadmap and ensure timely delivery of product initiatives.
Modernize the data infrastructure — current workflows rely on monthly OMS XLSX dumps, PDF-based GA4 reports, and CSV Adjust exports.
Replace these with a centralized data warehouse, automated pipelines, and real-time dashboards.
Manage the integration ecosystem: Customer Engagement Platform, Adjust (mobile attribution), GA4 (web analytics), SAP (ERP and delivery logistics), Salla (web storefront), WhatsApp Business API, and payment gateways (Apple Pay, Google Pay, Mada, credit cards).
Oversee IT security, Saudi data protection compliance, infrastructure reliability, and business continuity.

Qualifications:
  • 10+ years in technology leadership, 5+ as director or head of engineering/IT. Experience in e-commerce, D2C, or FMCG digital operations — ideally involving physical goods delivery and logistics.
  • Proven ability to manage and optimize vendor relationships while building internal technical capability. Strong grasp of mobile app architecture (native iOS/Android), API design, cloud infrastructure, and data engineering.
  • Experience with e-commerce platforms, order management systems, and payment gateway integration. Familiarity with marketing technology (attribution platforms, customer engagement tools, analytics) is a strong plus.
  • Arabic proficiency preferred.
