Key Responsibilities:

1. Lease Management:

   • Oversee and manage the leasing process from inquiry to move-in.
   • Negotiate lease terms and conditions with prospective tenants.
   • Prepare and execute lease agreements in compliance with legal and company standards.
   • Ensure timely lease renewals and handle negotiations as needed.

2. Marketing and Leasing Activities:

   • Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote available units.
   • Utilize online platforms, social media, and traditional marketing methods to attract potential tenants.
   • Organize property tours, open houses, and respond to tenant inquiries.

3. Tenant Screening:

   • Screen potential tenants, including conducting background checks, credit assessments, and verifying rental history.
   • Maintain and ensure compliance with fair housing laws and non-discriminatory practices.

4. Customer Service & Tenant Relations:

   • Build and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective tenants.
   • Address tenant inquiries, complaints, and concerns promptly, ensuring a positive experience.
   • Assist tenants with move-ins and move-outs, ensuring the smooth transition.

5. Lease Compliance & Documentation:

   • Ensure that all lease agreements, renewals, and documentation are accurately completed and stored.
   • Monitor tenants' payment schedules, ensuring compliance with lease terms.
   • Coordinate with legal or collections teams for overdue payments or legal actions if necessary.

6. Market Analysis & Reporting:

   • Conduct market research to stay informed about local rental rates and trends.
   • Provide regular reports on leasing activity, occupancy rates, and market conditions to management.

7. Team Collaboration:

   • Work closely with property managers, maintenance teams, and other departments to ensure efficient property management operations.
   • Provide leadership and support to junior leasing agents or assistants if applicable.
