Job Summary

We are looking for a General Manager to oversee all aspects of the business, from strategy and operations to growth and profitability. This role requires a hands-on leader with a strong background in e-commerce, online gifting, or marketplace aggregators.

The GM will drive revenue growth, optimize operations, enhance customer experience, and manage the full P&L. The ideal candidate is both strategic and execution-focused, able to scale the business while maintaining operational excellence.
 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Business Strategy & Growth

  • Develop and execute a growth strategy to scale thee business while ensuring profitability.
  • Identify new product opportunities, pricing strategies, and partnerships to expand our offerings.
  • Continuously optimize the customer experience, ensuring high retention and customer satisfaction.

Operations & Performance Management

  • Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring seamless order fulfillment and service quality.
  • Manage inventory, vendor relationships, and supply chain efficiency.
  • Improve operational KPIs such as fulfillment times, merchant decline rates, and customer ratings.

Financial & P&L Ownership

  • Own the full P&L, ensuring revenue growth, margin improvements, and cost control.
  • Monitor financial performance, optimize budgets, and drive efficiencies in operations and marketing.

Team Leadership & Collaboration

  • Lead and grow a cross-functional team including category managers, operations, and marketing.
  • Work closely with leadership and internal stakeholders to align on business objectives.
  • Foster a data-driven, high-performance culture within the team.

Marketing & Customer Acquisition

  • Develop and oversee marketing campaigns to drive user acquisition, retention, and order frequency.
  • Leverage in-app promotions, digital marketing, and partnerships to boost visibility and engagement.
  • Optimize the customer journey to maximize conversion and average order value (AOV).
JOB REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS
  • Proven leadership experience with 7+ in general management or leadership role.
  • Experience in e-commerce, category management, online gifting, or online marketplaces.
  • Strong background in P&L management, revenue growth, and operational efficiency.
  • Demonstratable Data-driven decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong understanding of customer behavior, digital marketing, and user acquisition.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with autonomy.
