Description


Responsibilities
  • Leading the review and analysis of workers’ compensation data, Chapter One, and ensuring its compliance with the rules and system
  • Leading the follow-up of data, reports and movements entered into the central financial systems related to workers’ compensation and searching for any indications of the existence of imbalances or regulatory violations
  • The quality of information and reports issued by the central financial systems related to workers’ compensation
  • Lead the analysis of financial data and reports related to workers’ compensation and ensure the efficiency of the tools used
  • Lead the preparation of analytical reports on financial data related to workers’ compensation, identify differences and changes in those balances and data, and determine their causes
  • Leading the preparation of analytical reports on financial data related to workers’ compensation, forecasting expected problems, and working to address them with the entity
  • Leading the preparation of Workers’ Compensation Department reports and follow-up
  • Participate with the Public Accounts Policy and Governance Department in formulating financial and accounting policies

Qualifications
  • 7 years in the field of financial control, including at least 4 years as a field financial controller
  • Familiarity with the three main budget items included in the state’s general budget classification guide (revenues, expenses, assets, and liabilities)
  • familiarity with regulations and systems related to workers’ compensation, such as but not limited to: Articles related to financial rights and benefits included in the system of civil service, salaries, bonuses, allowances, bonuses, and compensation for various sectors (health, military, educational, civil, diplomatic) coding of allowances, and researching their regularity
  • Experience in dividing allowances based on health, military, educational, and civilian sectors and distributing them to team members to study and make notes
  • Experience in analyzing a specific entity’s allowances to ensure that allowances are disbursed to eligible employees in the correct proportions
  • Experience in analyzing the operations of government agencies
  • Experience in studying notices issued by signs (repeated, deceased, repeated disbursement of appointment allowance, deductions)
  • Knowledge of accounting standards according to the cash basis and accrual basis
  • Knowledge of the most prominent international statistics systems, data analysis, and related standards and protocols
  • Academic qualifications (mandatory): Bachelor’s degree in accounting, financial management, or equivalent
  • Academic qualifications (preferential): Master’s degree in the above-mentioned academic qualifications
  • Professional certificates (preferential) Certification from the Saudi Organization for Certified Public Accountants (SOCPA) / Certified Compliance Officer (CCO) Certification / Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) Certification / Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Certification Investigator Certification Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) / Certified Data Analytics Professional (CAP) / Certified Business Intelligence Professional (CBIP) / Tableau Certified / Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) / Microsoft Power BI Certified / Alteryx Certified / Data Analytics Specialist Certified A certified
