Qualifications and experience required for the job:
- Reviewing the requests of government agencies to open, amend and close bank accounts and submit recommendations for review and approval by those with authority
- Periodic review of accounts opened with banks and making recommendations to cancel unnecessary ones for those with authority
- Follow up the transfer of balances of accounts of ministries and other government agencies from banks to the unified state account and submit recommendations for review and approval by those with authority.
- Participate with the Department of Policies and Governance of Financial Affairs and Accounts in formulating financial and accounting policies
- Archive all supporting documents electronically
Administrative and organizational roles:
- Evaluation of the level of performance of assistant accountants in management
- Work to verify the achievement of the main objectives of the department and improve the level of services it provides in terms of quality, accuracy and effectiveness.
Qualifications and experience required for the job:
- Minimum: 3 years in the field of financial and banking management
- Comprehensive knowledge about International Public Sector Accounting Standards
- Thorough knowledge of accounting standards on cash and accrual basis
- Comprehensive knowledge of financial and accounting instructions
