Description
Responsibilities
- Establish working relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders
- Provide expertise and guidance in identifying stakeholder engagement barriers and recommend best courses of action
- Actively gain exposure and insights to local market development, business opportunities and the existing regulatory landscape
- Manage, guide, and assist team to perform operations in accordance with set policies and procedures
- Set performance objectives, provide necessary support, evaluate / appraise incumbents and provide regular feedback on performance
- Guide workshops with concerned functions as needed and ensure alignment on relevant requirements and expectations
- Provide support and expert opinion as needed during the life cycle of financial modelling
- Oversee financial analysis of historical trends, evaluate identified trends, review projections and provide recommendations as needed
- Lead market research, data mining, business intelligence, and valuation comps (i.e., comparable company analysis) and direct financial performance analyses
- Analyze potential investment opportunities, oversee capital expenditure and depreciation, refine profit plans, and provide additional recommendations and enhancements
- Guide the evaluation of financial statements to ensure accurate analyses and recommend reports enhancements
- Provide financial consultations and expert opinion as needed to enable and optimize statistical analyses and interpretations
- 9+ years of experience in a Finance field
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance / Statistics or equivalent is required
- Master’s Degree in Finance / Statistics or equivalent is preferred
- Doctorate’s Degree in Finance / Statistics or equivalent is preferred
