Description
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design and implementation of Microdata Center policies and procedures covering all areas of activity
- Supervise day-to-day activities to ensure compliance with stipulated policies and procedures
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of systems and processes taking into account leading practices, changes in business environment, cost reduction and productivity improvement
Establish working relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders - Collect feedback from internal and external stakeholders on issues being faced and other requirements
- Contribute to the preparation of progress reports directed to all relevant stakeholders to keep them informed of progress
- Actively gain exposure and insights to local market development, business opportunities and the existing regulatory landscape
- Actively participate in on-the-job training, mentoring, and coaching of subordinates
- Provide clear direction, prioritize tasks, assign and delegate responsibility and monitor the workflow
- Promote a high-performance working environment embracing the organization’s values
- Draft microdata framework in order to define data assets and how data dissemination
- Define data governance requirements for the security architecture in line with best practices and relevant regulatory frameworks
- Ensure compliance with data governance requirements for the security architecture in line with best practices and relevant regulatory frameworks
- Plan data governance audits to identify and assess level of compliance across the organization
- Monitor risk assessments to ensure adherence to set methodology and evaluate results to accordingly develop mitigation plans
- Ensure that data governance compliance checks are conducted according to plan and evaluate results to ensure that all non-compliances were addressed by relevant stakeholders
- Ensure the implementation of secure and restricted logical access to information and technology assets
- Monitor access rights allocation to confirm that relevant functions are properly managing the access rights of concerned stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with microdata policies and procedures
- Develop data requests assessment rules including parameters and variables (i.e., raw data, sensitive data series)
- Facilitate acquisition of requested data • Develop data dissemination methods in line with relevant policies and procedures
- Follow-up on microdata requests and ensure proper assistance is offered to requesters
- Implement data protection program across the organization to ensure compliance and integrity of data processed within the organization
- Manage microdata projects across the organization to ensure stability and accuracy of data exchange as per policies and procedures
- Monitor risk assessments to ensure adherence to set methodology and evaluate results to accordingly develop mitigation plans
- Evaluate results of data governance audits to ensure that all non-compliances were addressed by relevant stakeholders

- Design data governance trainings programs in order to increase employee awareness and understanding of data governance policies, processes and methodologies
- Manage the implementation/ update of comprehensive policies and processes ensuring alignment with programs, templates, expert inputs, and best practices.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in a Data Governance/Partnership field
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Cybersecurity or equivalent is required
