Description
Functional Responsibilities
Assist in the development and implementation of governance strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards, and organizational goals.
Contribute to the establishment and maintenance of governance practices and the monitoring of compliance with policies and procedures.
Activate governance best practices to reduce risk, increase performance efficiency and apply such practices as conflict-of-interest disclosure forms, whistleblowing, etc.
Develop and review Board and Subcommittees’ charters.
.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas of non-compliance and ethical concerns, supporting the implementation of measures to address them.
Assist in compliance audits, policy assessments, and alignment checks.
Conduct governance awareness & training sessions in alignment with HC.
Contribute to the preparation of reports on governance practices, compliance status, and recommended improvements.
Job Requirements
Academic Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Risk Management, Legal Studies, or other relevant disciplines.
Work Experience: 3 – 4 years of experience in a relevant field.
Functional Competencies: Policy Compliance, Process Documentation, Internal Controls, Risk Assessment, Audit Support, Regulatory Knowledge, Compliance Reporting, Process Improvement, Compliance Monitoring, Record Keeping.
