Summary:

The HR Director is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources within the organization. This position requires a strong understanding of HR best practices, employment law, and a proven ability to develop and implement effective HR strategies that align with business objectives. This role has a particular emphasis on Organizational Development (OD), Performance Systems, Career Pathing, People & Strategy (P&S), and Organizational Culture.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic HR Leadership: Develop and implement HR strategies that support the organization's overall business goals. Provide strategic advice and counsel to senior management on HR-related matters.
  • Organizational Development (OD): Lead OD initiatives to improve organizational effectiveness, including:
    • Conduct organizational assessments to identify areas for improvement.
    • Designing and implementing interventions to enhance organizational structure, processes, and culture.
    • Facilitating change management initiatives.
    • Developing leadership development programs.
  • Performance Management: Oversee the design, implementation, and administration of the performance management system, ensuring it is aligned with organizational goals and promotes employee development. This includes:
    • Developing performance metrics and standards.
    • Providing training to managers on performance management best practices.
    • Managing the performance review process.
  • Career Pathing and Development: Develop and implement career development programs to support employee growth and retention. This includes:
    • Creating career paths and progression frameworks.
    • Providing career counseling and coaching to employees.
    • Identifying and developing high-potential employees.
  • People & Strategy (P&S): Partner with business leaders to develop and implement workforce plans that align with business strategy. This includes:
    • Conducting workforce analysis and forecasting.
    • Developing talent acquisition strategies.
    • Managing talent mobility and succession planning.
  • Organizational Culture: Champion a positive and inclusive organizational culture that promotes employee engagement, well-being, and high performance. This includes:
    • Developing and implementing initiatives to foster a positive work environment.
    • Promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion.
    • Managing employee communication and feedback channels.
  • Talent Acquisition: Oversee the talent acquisition process, ensuring the organization attracts and hires top talent.
  • Compensation and Benefits: Manage the compensation and benefits programs, ensuring they are competitive and aligned with market trends.
  • Employee Relations: Manage employee relations issues, ensuring compliance with employment law and promoting a positive work environment.
  • HR Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations.
  • Budget Management: Manage the HR budget.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage the HR team, providing coaching, mentoring, and development opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • 15+years’ experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Extensive experience in human resources management, with a focus on OD, performance management, career pathing, P&S, and organizational culture.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, and regulations.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement effective HR strategies.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with HRIS systems.
  • SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a specific industry relevant to the company.
  • Experience with change management and organizational transformation.
