Qualifications
- Contribute to the design and implementation of Statistical Database & Data Warehouse policies and procedures covering all areas of activity
- Supervise day-to-day activities to ensure compliance with stipulated policies and procedures
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of systems and processes taking into account leading practices, changes in business environment, cost reduction and productivity improvement
- Establish working relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders
- Collect feedback from internal and external stakeholders on issues being faced and other requirements
- Contribute to the preparation of progress reports directed to all relevant stakeholders to keep them informed of progress
- Actively gain exposure and insights to local market development, business opportunities and the existing regulatory landscape
- Actively participate in on-the-job training, mentoring, and coaching of subordinates
- Provide clear direction, prioritize tasks, assign and delegate responsibility and monitor the workflow
- Promote a high-performance working environment embracing the organization’s values
- Guide the development of guidelines ensuring alignment with best practices and trends
- Set quality standards and KPIs for the storage and categorization of data sets
- Define methodologies for archiving, preservation, retention, and disposal of data registers
- Monitor indices built, define weightage, and aggregate them in order to summarize and rank specific data
- Supervise developed metadata in line with set guidelines and procedures in order to ensure proper summarization of basic information and facilitate data tracking
- Establish data registers' categories including population, business, and residential topics to ensure proper organization and consolidation of data using relevant data measurements scales (i.e., nominal, ordinal, interval, and ratio)
- Define and update structured databases classifying data and identifying interrelationships to satisfy requirements and needs in line with quality standards,guidelines, and defined categories
- Monitor data accessibility and identification ensuring data clarity, accuracy, and compliance with security and privacy policies and guidelines
- Lead the update of set of objects required for the whole population in line with best practices and guidelines
- Validate needed data registers ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and guidelines and communicate approval to concerned stakeholders to facilitate data registers' sharing
- Evaluate the assessment of received requests highlighting any missing data in line with required information and communicate approval of information dissemination to concerned functions
- Develop periodic quality reports in order to reflect newly defined metadata, status of registers, and highlight issues / gaps
Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in a Data Management field
- Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science or equivalent is required
