Job Objective


To develop and implement comprehensive strategies aimed at increasing market share, meeting customer needs, and improving operational efficiency by leading the company’s growth and expansion efforts. This includes innovating in product and project development, improving pricing strategies, and ensuring the availability of high-quality materials and products at reasonable costs. It also involves building relationships with suppliers and customers and enhancing collaboration among different departments such as marketing, sales, and customer service to ensure the company’s strategic goals are achieved.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Set strategic goals for the department in coordination with the CEO, such as expansion into new markets, developing new products or projects, or increasing market share.
  2. Define operational objectives and ensure they align with the company's strategic goals, ensuring the team understands them and how they contribute to achieving them.
  3. Develop detailed methodologies to achieve strategic objectives, such as product innovation, pricing strategies, or cost reduction.
  4. Conduct comprehensive studies of target markets and identify customer needs to seize opportunities by offering appropriate products and services.
  5. Conduct comprehensive risk studies and competitor analysis to mitigate threats by developing appropriate risk management plans.
  6. Develop pricing strategies that enhance competitiveness and increase market share while maintaining added value, product quality, and profitability.
  7. Collaborate with other departments (sales, marketing, finance, e-commerce) to exchange information on market performance, category performance, campaign plans, and category profitability.
  8. Ensure inventory availability aligns with marketing, sales plans, and market demand.
  9. Review and analyze the performance of existing products using data to identify strengths and weaknesses and suggest appropriate improvements.
  10. Identify potential new markets and develop appropriate market entry strategies based on market and competitor analysis.
  11. Strengthen presence in existing markets through expansion plans and monitoring market share performance.
  12. Manage and monitor the development of new products from concept to design and launch.
  13. Design and organize communication channels to share category information with relevant departments (sales, marketing, finance, supply chain, e-commerce, etc.).
  14. Collaborate with the finance department to review the cost and profitability of each category and provide improvement suggestions.
  15. Review and approve activities and operations of the category management unit and ensure effective coordination with the procurement unit.
  16. Develop new and existing products based on market needs, sales analysis, and customer feedback.
  17. Develop effective procurement strategies that ensure material availability with appropriate quality and cost.
  18. Monitor supplier performance through KPIs and contract terms and ensure compliance with quality standards.
  19. Review and discuss contingency plans to address supply delays or price increases.
  20. Review and approve procurement unit operations and ensure coordination with other relevant units.
  21. Coordinate with the customer service unit to analyze product-related complaints and work on improvements.
  22. Coordinate with the marketing department to execute effective promotional campaigns that enhance brand awareness.
  23. Participate in expansion and growth plans by collaborating with the sales department and providing necessary support.
  24. Set performance evaluation standards based on key performance indicators (KPIs) and conduct regular team performance evaluations.
  25. Participate in the hiring process and select suitable team members through preparing job descriptions, conducting interviews, and evaluating candidates.
  26. Prepare and submit periodic reports to senior management regarding department performance.
  27. Carry out any other tasks assigned within the scope of the department’s work.
