Requirements
- Manage and supervise a team of accountants, ensuring daily tasks and deadlines are met.
- Provide training, mentoring, and performance evaluations for team members.
- Delegate tasks effectively and ensure collaboration within the accounting team.
- Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Review financial reports for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards.
- Perform variance analysis and provide insights to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with local tax laws, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate and assist with internal and external audits.
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records for auditing and reporting purposes.
- Oversee the reconciliation of accounts, including bank statements, receivables, and payables.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll, invoices, and other financial transactions.
- Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
- Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency improvements.
- Ensure the accounting system is up to date and functioning optimally.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.
- Communicate with external parties, such as auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.
- Respond to management inquiries regarding financial performance and data.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and other relevant accounting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills.
