Description
Responsibilities
 
  • Manage and supervise a team of accountants, ensuring daily tasks and deadlines are met.
  • Provide training, mentoring, and performance evaluations for team members.
  • Delegate tasks effectively and ensure collaboration within the accounting team.
  • Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Review financial reports for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Perform variance analysis and provide insights to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with local tax laws, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate and assist with internal and external audits.
  • Maintain accurate and organized financial records for auditing and reporting purposes.
  • Oversee the reconciliation of accounts, including bank statements, receivables, and payables.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll, invoices, and other financial transactions.
  • Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
  • Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency improvements.
  • Ensure the accounting system is up to date and functioning optimally.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.
  • Communicate with external parties, such as auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.
  • Respond to management inquiries regarding financial performance and data.


Requirements
 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional accounting experience.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and other relevant accounting standards.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
