Description

Responsibilities
  • Statistics policies and procedures covering all areas of activity ensuring results achievement effectively and efficiently
  • Provide guidance in the identification and implementation of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes, and practices
  • Remain abreast of Gender and Diversity Statistics leading practice and new trends, and identify recommendations for corrective measures, updates and improvements where required
  • Establish working relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders
  • Provide expertise and guidance in identifying stakeholder engagement barriers and recommend best courses of action
  • Actively gain exposure and insights to local market development, business opportunities and the existing regulatory landscape
  • Manage, guide, and assist team to perform operations in accordance with set policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with Human Resources function to identify and recruit talent for Gender and Diversity Statistics
  • Set performance objectives, provide necessary support, evaluate / appraise incumbents and provide regular feedback on performance
  • Promote a high-performance working environment embracing the company's values
  • Recommend publicly available and privately held data sources to enable social industry-related research and analysis
  • Provide expert advice in analyzing social industry trends, establishing forecasts, and developing social industry models
  • Recommend potential events including, but not limited to conferences, seminars, and round tables that can enhance social industry knowledge
  • Propose and establish relationships with external stakeholders to share social industry information and technical knowledge
  • Provide support as needed in the development of relevant socio-economic profiles and industrial scenarios, and review outcomes for validation, correction, and / or improvement
  • Ensure alignment with business units on requirements and expectations from industrial analyses and advice provision
  • Provide expert advice as needed on potential data sources to enable / enhance relevant statistical products
  • Provide subject expertise and guidance to concerned functions during the data collection life cycle
  • Apply subject expertise in evaluating or supporting in the development of statistical hypotheses
  • Oversee relevant subject / industrial / technical support during the data processing, statistical analyses, and statistical interpretations life cycle, and engage in consultations as and when needed
  • Oversee the development of customized reports ensuring fulfillment of communicated research areas and recommend best course of action as needed
Qualifications
  • 9+ years of experience in a  Statistics field
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics / Statistics or equivalent is required
  • Master’s Degree in Mathematics/ Statistics or equivalent is preferred
  • Doctorate’s Degree in Mathematics / Statistics or equivalent is preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office 
  • Proficiency in English
