The Lead Recruitment Officer is responsible for consolidating recruitment needs, reviewing potential sourcing channels, conducting interviews and onboarding
sessions, assessing new joiners’ probation period, and implementing decisions as recommended
Responsibilities

Conduct day-to-day activities while ensuring compliance to policies and procedures

Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes in line with leading practices

Establish working relationships with relevant internal stakeholders

Collect feedback from internal stakeholders on issues being faced and other requirements

Contribute to the preparation of progress reports directed to all relevant stakeholders to keep them informed of progress

Consolidate recruitment needs collected from internal functions, and assess findings to ensure systematic recruitment planning

Coordinate with concerned functions for the identification of potential internal candidates to fill vacancies taking into consideration position’s requirements

Review and shortlist potential sourcing channels ensuring alignment with sourcing strategy

Conduct initial contact with shortlisted sourcing channels to gather input, in line with defined requirements and needs, and facilitate selection decision-making

Conduct CV screening and shortlist candidates who meet specified requirements of middle and low-level positions

Conduct interviews with candidates applying for middle and low-level positions to assess person job fit and document interview results to be shared with concerned stakeholders

Draft employment contracts for successful candidates and escalate for approval

Develop and / or update onboarding checklist, guidelines, and handbook to ensure successful onboarding for new joiners

Conduct onboarding sessions for new joiners to facilitate integration in the culture, management, work environment, and policies
- Coordinate with relevant stakeholders for the completion of new joiners’ probation period assessment and implement decisions as recommended ensuring alignment with policies and procedures
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in a Talent Acquisition field
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or equivalent is required
