Telecom Manager in Telecom Department at Royal Private office

 

Scope of Work

  • Manage the local telecom mobile & land operators for the employee account services including voice and data activation, fax, data circuits, ADSL, billing and payments.
  • Monitor on regular basis the employee’s bill payment and ensure the bill-payment process policy is followed and enforced.
  • Manage the TV headend support and maintenance including various pay-channel membership accounts. Further, ensure proper operations of all terminated TV appliances in various sites.
  • Responsible of the existing Ericsson and Avaya IP office telephony systems and provide resolutions to company employees in case of technical issues and adding services when needed.
  • Troubleshoot field telecom related problems and implement changes as viably required.
  • Constantly seeking and advising new products or services, which can add feasible values to the existing telecom and IT infrastructure.
  • Actively involved in VIP TRIP preparations such as coordination with hotel/resort managements to review and implement the needed IT and telecom requirements during the visit.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with people in other departments or industries is required for this role as per the need basis.
  • Manage and supervise the different team day-to-day work activities. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Provide forecast document for the yearly budget with schedules and deadlines.
  • Responsible of building office access-control system and in charge of the operation of the IP and analogue CCTV security engines located in different sites.
  • Post office-hours, the employee is on standby for any work urgency.
  • International travelling is part of the job requirement.
  • Working during national and religious holidays if needed.
 

Skills and qualification requirements:

  1. Must have at least a college degree in science or engineering preferably university.
  2. Must have at least 2 to 5 years of experience in the field of IT/telecommunications.
  3. Must be good in English and Arabic; both in writing and in verbal communication.
  4. Have strong knowledge in Microsoft Office, Internet browsing, and technology related knowledge.
  5. Well familiar with android mobile phones and apple OS.
  6. Be proactive, detail-oriented and inventive, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, impeccable interpersonal and organizational skills.
  7. Willingness to keep up-to-date of industry advances.
  8. Good experience in coordinating and collaborating with people in other departments or industries is required for this role.
  9. Project Management knowledge and attention to details.

Work Environment
The main job is performed indoors in an office setting although around 30% of the job activities are interspersed with meeting vendors and involved in the facilities to install, repair, or maintain network or telecom systems.
